Mission statement
Next Stage Orchestra strives to empower the next generation of orchestral musicians to pursue professional careers with confidence. By rehearsing standard audition repertoire in a supportive environment, musicians are given the opportunity to refine and strengthen their audition excerpts in context. Non-auditioning musicians are also given the chance to learn more about other instrumentalists and will have a more complete understanding of the orchestra. This free-to-join orchestra ensures high-quality audition preparation is accessible to all. Regular question-and-answer sessions with active professionals will further equip musicians for a successful future. As an ensemble that does not emphasize performance, our priority is to provide a dedicated time to work through the repertoire vital to a musician’s future, grow a network of colleagues, and develop the skills and knowledge necessary for one to flourish in their orchestral profession.

Music Director
Rosetta Isnardi is a conductor, pianist, pedagogue, and avid good-doer whose musical career has taken her all over the world. She has studied at incredible institutions such as The Juilliard School in New York City, the Mozarteum in Austria, and Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. Rosetta is currently a pianist for the Boston Ballet, accompanying technique and repertoire classes for their second company (BBII), Walnut Hill School, and the Boston Ballet School, and teaches piano students privately from ages 5-85+. She also grew up playing the violin, and if she weren’t standing on the podium during these rehearsals, she would happily make a very strong Violin 2. Her deep love for orchestral repertoire combined with one particularly woeful doomscrolling session inspired her to start planning the Next Stage Orchestra in 2025.
