Happy spooky month everyone! It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Join us NEXT SATURDAY (10th of October) at University Lutheran Church (66 Winthrop Street, Cambridge) from 1-4:30 PM for some music-making. Here’s what we’ll be covering:
-Beethoven Symphony No. 5 movement 2
-Schumann Symphony No. 2 movement 1
-Mozart Symphony 35 movements 1 and 4
-Time (and horn attendance) permitting, we’ll revisit Beethoven Symphony No. 3 movement 3
Most of this repertoire is to support any cellists and horn players planning on applying to the upcoming New Bedford Symphony Orchestra auditions, taking place next weekend. Additionally, the Schumann is seen on many trumpet (etc.) audition pages.
In the coming days, I’ll make more posts about each piece. Sign up for more information here. See you then!
